Sassafras- Sassafras Albidum
Common name: Sassafras
Genus: Sassafras
Species: Albidum
Habitat: Eastern Deciduous Forest
Chemical ingredient: Zinc and Safrole
Preparation: leaves made into teas and poultice, root crushed and boiled
Uses: Fungicide, toothache, sores, knife cut, deep puncture would, antiseptic(disinfectant), sprained ankle/wrist(swelling)
